Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)
Up to 100% TuitionCovers full in-state tuition at public schools, up to a national cap at private schools, a monthly housing allowance (BAH rate), and a $1,000/year book stipend. The most comprehensive education benefit available to post-9/11 veterans.
Who Qualifies
Veterans with at least 90 days of active duty service after September 10, 2001. Benefit percentage scales from 40% (90 days) to 100% (36+ months).

The housing allowance is based on the BAH rate for the school's zip code — not where you live. Online-only students receive half the national average BAH. Attend at least one in-person class to get the full rate.
